Administrative Appointments

November 7, 2019 - Parkland School Division’s Superintendent of Schools, Shauna Boyce, is pleased to announce the following administrative appointments.

Parents and guardians of Brookwood School are already aware of Principal Terry Caouette’s medical leave. Assistant Principal Diane Lefebvre moves into the Acting Principal role effective immediately, while Diane Lander becomes Acting Assistant Principal for the duration of Mrs. Caouette’s leave effective Monday, November 18, 2019.

“Our thoughts are with Terry Caouette as she tackles her latest round of chemo therapy to combat her health issues,” stated Superintendent Boyce.

“Diane Lefebvre knows that school community inside and out. Brookwood parents, students and staff will continue to benefit from Diane’s commitment to students and her expertise as the Inclusive Education Lead for the school will ensure a positive and welcoming learning environment for all.”

“Students will benefit from Diane Lander’s background in elementary and middle years settings. She will be able to tap into her 15 years of experience as a Grade 4 teacher and combine that with the unique perspective gained as a curriculum facilitator in PSD which has placed her in classrooms all across our division.”
